Memorial Day 2011

Bellevue Memorial Park will pay tribute to our country’s Veterans this year by honoring them at the annual Memorial Day Celebration event on Monday, May 30th, at 10:00 a.m. in the “Memorial” Veterans Section of the park (located north of the Bellevue Mausoleum). Joining us once again is the Chaffey Community Show Band, under the direction of Jack Mercer, who will showcase another music-filled event, including the “New Veterans Hymn.”

The Ontario Police Department, along with the City of Ontario Parks and Recreation, and local service organizations will participate in bringing our community a day of remembrance, honor, and respect for our Veterans.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 8:30 a.m. in the Bellevue Mausoleum before the event.

Please join us on Monday, May 30th for this traditional Memorial Day Service which will include patriotic music, uplifting messages, a fly over by the Ontario Police Department, and gun salute.


The Board of Trustees, General Manager, staff, and grounds crew would like to thank all of the groups and organizations who participate in the program each year, as well as the community for their support in honoring our nation’s veterans.
